Every new school year brings fresh notebooks, new routines, new friendships, and new possibilities. At John Rex Charter Schools, it also brings another opportunity to live out an idea that is central to who we are: growth begins here.

Growth can look different for every student. Sometimes it is mastering a difficult math concept. Sometimes it is finding the confidence to speak up in class, joining a new activity, building a friendship, or discovering an interest that could become a future career.

Our job is to create the conditions for all of those things to happen.

Throughout the year, our teachers and staff will challenge students academically while helping them build the skills, relationships, and confidence they need for what comes next. From our youngest learners in Pre-K to our eighth graders preparing for high school, every student is moving along a pathway toward greater independence and opportunity.

And as our students grow, John Rex is growing too.

Our school community is preparing for an exciting future that includes expanded opportunities, stronger partnerships, and eventually a complete PK–12 John Rex experience.
