🌸🌿 Pre-K Exploring Our Beautiful Garden Through Our Five Senses! 🌿🌸

Hi families! 💙 I wanted to share a few important updates about Grandparents Day! We have been working behind the scenes to organize everything as smoothly as possible. With 700+ guests expected, we have made a few adjustments. 📅 September 14 | 8:30–9:30 AM Please arrive on time and plan for extra time to find parking and check in. We will be sending home tickets to make entrance as quick and easy as possible. Tickets should come home toward the end of this week. Please take a moment to read the detailed information below. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 💙🚀

Students at Kerr Park observed the world around them and creatively wrote about what they noticed.

First Grade Data Fun! Our first graders used Mix-Pair-Share to ask classmates about their favorite apples and collect data. Then, they created their own graphs and answered questions based on the data they collected! 🍎📊

This week our third grade and Pre-K classes kicked off Reading Buddies!

Our elementary classes have been taking advantage of morning temperatures with garden scavenger hunts!🌻🌱

Today's garden scavenger hunt with second grade 🪴

7th grade science students are using marshmallows to model sodium and chlorine ions as they build extended structures. Through this hands-on activity, they’re visualizing how a repeated pattern extends a structure.

Third Grade has been focusing on the Life Principle of the Month- Kindness and Friendship. These Rockets earned Golden Tickets for demonstrating and setting a great example this month! 🧡🚀
