🎊 Celebrating Chinese New Year in 4th Grade! 🏮
Our classroom had a wonderful time celebrating Chinese New Year! Students learned about the traditions, symbols, and cultural significance of this important holiday, also known as Lunar New Year.
Students enjoyed meaningful discussions, and learning how this holiday is celebrated around the world. It was a beautiful opportunity to build cultural awareness, curiosity, and respect for traditions different from our own.
We love creating experiences that help our students become thoughtful, globally-minded learners. 🧧✨

4th grade got the chance to be in a press meeting to kick off the Memorial Marathon. They had so much fun. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1CAASi6w2E/?mibextid=wwXIfr

A few squeals, but lots of fun creating cozy beds for our worms and putting them into their new home! Kindergarten curiosity at its finest 🐛💚

Guidance Book Buddies: A leadership and mentoring program that partners some 6th grade students with kindergarten classrooms to read character-focused books together. Through weekly visits, older students model positive behaviors, build leadership skills, and help younger students develop a love of reading. An added bonus is that they also teach life skills to the younger students through the character books.

Having a guest reader is so fun. It's even MORE fun when your guest reader is a fellow 3rd grader!
