🌳🧺 Pre-K Picnic at Myriad Botanical Gardens! 🌞💚
2nd graders collaborated to create fun text feature collages to go along with our reading skill of the week! 📚✂️✨ We loved seeing their creativity and teamwork come together!
Last Friday morning, our 3rd graders put on a wonderful performance at Blastoff! They performed rhythmic dances, sang songs in Spanish, displayed artwork, and showcased original compositions to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. They dedicated a lot of time to make this Blastoff performance one to remember, and their hard work truly paid off!

🌱🥕 Harvesting more than vegetables—we’re growing memories! 🥕🌱 Our second graders loved picking fresh veggies from our school garden and seeing the fruits of their hard work. From little seeds to a big harvest, our Second Graders are growing, learning, and having so much fun along the way! 💚🌿

Our third graders have been learning all about Fat Bear Week and the incredible ecosystem of Katmai National Park in Alaska! Over the past few weeks, students have explored the interdependent relationship between salmon, brown bears, and the park, while learning about the adaptations and behaviors brown bears use as they prepare for hibernation.
To share our learning, each class created a collaborative poster, made books for their PreK reading buddies, and is putting the finishing touches on a writing project! 🐟🐻💙🧡

🌱🌻 Garden Guardians Week! 🌻🌱
Ms. Trevizo’s 2nd graders picked up trash, pulled weeds, organized garden materials, and took pride in caring for our garden. We had so much fun exploring, learning, and being great garden helpers! 💚🌿✨
To go along with our weekly reading question, “What patterns can we notice in a garden?” our 2nd graders explored the school garden and created their own garden trading cards!🪴🌷🃏 #rockets #johnrex
Apple Day in Mrs. Villanueva’s class was full of learning and fun! First graders practiced CVC words with an apple-themed Write the Room, enjoyed an apple tasting with apple cider, completed a fun math craft, and so much more! 🍏📚✨
