🎊 Celebrating Chinese New Year in 4th Grade! 🏮 Our classroom had a wonderful time celebrating Chinese New Year! Students learned about the traditions, symbols, and cultural significance of this important holiday, also known as Lunar New Year. Students enjoyed meaningful discussions, and learning how this holiday is celebrated around the world. It was a beautiful opportunity to build cultural awareness, curiosity, and respect for traditions different from our own. We love creating experiences that help our students become thoughtful, globally-minded learners. 🧧✨

This week, we proudly celebrate our school counselors and the incredible impact they have on our students, families, and staff. From supporting academic growth to nurturing social-emotional well-being, our counselors show up every day with compassion, care, and commitment.

Guidance Book Buddies: A leadership and mentoring program that partners some 6th grade students with kindergarten classrooms to read character-focused books together. Through weekly visits, older students model positive behaviors, build leadership skills, and help younger students develop a love of reading. An added bonus is that they also teach life skills to the younger students through the character books.

Having a guest reader is so fun. It's even MORE fun when your guest reader is a fellow 3rd grader!
